Nokia N900 FM radio reception improve scanner antenna.

Found this on youtube and is pretty cool.

That's interesting.
The adapter is a mono tip/ring to BNC adapter, which then could be used to connect to many antenna leads.

The headphones icon is shown on the screen, & that usually means that the N900 has detected headphones & muted the speakers. Does the FM radio software have a setting to turn the speakers on?

Yes, but (obviously) you have to keep the "headphones/antenna" connected.
