I am experiencing this problem since the last reflash that I've done on my N9 where the emoticons does not show up in conversations, instead I get a file looking icon.
Here are some examples.

And if I try to click on the smiley and then select an emoticon.. Nothing comes up in the text area...

then notice how the emoticon doesn't come up in the text box:
I searched the internet and this forum for solutions and couldn't find any..
I tried to use N9 Tweak to "restore emoticons" and that didn't work..
I followed what was said in this post and it also didn't work.
Can you guys help me out please?
