Disclaimer:-
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNTESTED. DON'T COME CRYING IF YOUR N900 TURNS INTO A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT.

If you don't know what to do with the archive, this isn't for you.
I think you will have to repack the android partition, this time in a tar ball, preserving permissions.

In your zip archive, all permissions and symlinks are lost..

Wow.
I have never thought of that. I'll re-upload it in tar.bz2 format.

I will have to repeat the process. Lost everything.
My stupid PC machine takes an effing long time to compile, I'll post links very late tonight if I'm lucky.

^This, or try to install N12 first, and unzip N13 over it.

The "zip over" was the way i went. I mounted the partition, unzipped the file , and used cp -R . (Hope that was the right way ??)

I ran it....unzipped it on my existing Gingerbread(even etc and lib folders, separately),and it looked like a wierd hybrid of ICS and gingerbread.
- No performance change(Temple run was a bit faster,I think)
-Could not give SuperUser permission to SetCPU
-Slightly unstable,Applications stopped responding

Then I installed ICS and unzipped it over it again, and the kernel simply didnt flash, couldnt boot Nitdroid, but could boot Maemo....

Which one was I supposed to unzip this one over?
Anything else I was to look out for?

Even mine got stuck at 'NOKIA' logo, but only when I unzipped over an ICS installation.
Unzipping over Gingerbread gave mixed results as described above....
