I managed to drop my brand new N810 on concrete floor a couple of weeks ago. While the device continues to work great, there is now a small scratch on the silver rim. Has anyone been successful in fixing such a scratch? I tried to use the Testors model master paint in steel color for touchup, but the color / reflectivity didn't match. I will try the silver color next. Would appreciate advice. Thanks.

People were using Brasso for their iPods (google "Brasso iPod") but I know it's a mild abrasive which might make things worse. Then again it's for buffing out scratches.

If there's a coating on the aluminum (I've only ever physically seen an N800 once much less an N810) it would remove that and you'd have to do the whole thing to get it uniform.
