Let's find out all those 1000 improvements! I'll try to update 1st post as often as I can.


Official Nokia changelog:

  • Facebook (1.3.2+0m8)
  • Drive (2.0.8+0m8)
  • AccuWeather (1.0.19+0m8)


Nokia Conversations Blog changelog:

The main improvements include:
  • Mail for Exchange (MfE) now supports client certificates.
  • Localisation improvements and support for new error codes with the Facebook app.
  • Twitter API changes that reflect the back end infrastructure of Twitter.

As well as these main updates, there are also some general updates.
  • AccuWeather widget weather update fixed.
  • VoIP calls now work via Skype/Gtalk when in flight mode and connected to WLAN.
  • Changing the “week starts on” date within the calendar error now fixed.

There are also a lot of small improvements on network and connectivity performance.

Unfortunately some key packages didn't have a changelog at all so the combined changelog is not by any means complete. Also, the bug numbers by themselves are meaningless. I still hope this clarifies things a bit. PR1.3 is all about bug fixes. Some are language or use case specific - some fix annoyances for pretty much everyone.

they closed hole that inception 0.1 was using.

For me it seems that wireless networks are found much faster than before. In addition the device sees more networks that with PR1.2

Hmmm.. I hope Bug 378 is now fixed... (cross fingers)..

Changes in DLNA media server:
  • Fix for GNOME Bug 662125 - Sharing uses 100% CPU if a client requests a lot of small slices from a media file, most visible symptom is choppy video playback
  • Compatibility fix for XBox360 (GNOME Bug 664184): Previously showed a single song up to 5 times in the "All Songs" list
  • Fixed a small memory leak while serving transcoded content

1. Higher current drain (I mean instantaneous value) 75mA instead of 54-62 with screen on and over 10 instead of 6-9 in idle.
2. Much faster video player.
3. NFC is finally working. (Tried with my C7)
4. Internet connection switch on/off in settings is added.
