Server settings file's name changed from wms_settings.ini to server_settings.ini, so if you want to use your old settings file rename it to server_settings.ini.
Can someone put working wms settings map settings and server settings for N9 4.2.

Aerial maps and Eniro maps would be nice to get working.

Seems that with latest version of Mapsi its not possible get depth charts visible for lakes in Finland... or am have I miss-understood something.

just hypothetically speeking here... If one would have "old" maps downloaded with depth charts, what version of Mapsi one should use?

I think there should be a Wiki page with all WMS settings gathered in one place. I'd do one if I actually knew the settings!

This is a great idea, especially if the settings in the Wiki would be arranged by the type of maps and use.

I maybe too late, nokiaforum perhaps changed on these turbulent days. I just cannot find .deb package for ubuntu 12.04 (latest mapsi package)

A frend gave me a N9 package, and it works fine in mobile!

This works perfectly! I just use "FIN topographic" as the basemap since it zooms nicely and is very precise for slow boating.

Thanks also for the new features (automatic saving of tracks in particular). In future releases there could even be optional autostart of tracking.

This really is the best hiking, skiing, boating etc. mobile maps software that I have ever met! Really a killer application!

Cheers,

Antti
PS. Is there a way to support the development in monetary way, ie I would like to donate!

Sorry for not replying sooner but here are some setting files for Swedish (-SE.txt file extension) and Norwegian (-NO.txt extension) maps. I also tried to get other map sites to work but it seems that some sites use random keywords in urls (for example Eniro's maps) so those cannot easily be used.

These settings files should work with the latest Mapsi version (v4.2.0) (except there was a bug with url handling so "NO-Topografisk kart GoogleMaps" map won't work until next version).

Usage instructions: (for Swedish maps replace "-NO.txt" with "-SE.txt")
1. Download map_settings.ini-NO.txt and server_settings.ini-NO.txt
2. Remove "-NO.txt" extensions
3. Copy files to /home/user/MyDocs/.mapsi (overwrite existing files)
OR
1. Copy and paste map_settings.ini-NO.txt file contents to your existing map_settings.ini file and servers_settings.ini-NO.txt to server_settings.ini
Attached Files
File Type: txt map_settings.ini-NO.txt (2.4 KB, 75 views)
File Type: txt server_settings.ini-NO.txt (2.0 KB, 59 views)
File Type: txt map_settings.ini-SE.txt (1.5 KB, 72 views)
File Type: txt server_settings.ini-SE.txt (1.4 KB, 68 views)

Unfortunately there's not working Ubuntu version at the moment and also probably not coming in the near future. My next goal is to get this to Nokia Store and then get new versions released for N900 and for Windows.

Tried "FIN topographic" as the basemap, and there are some depht markings on the map. I'd prefer more something like retkikartta.fi maps, because there are better depht markings (syvyyskäyrät, tiheämmät syvyyslukemat). In the next versions, could it be possible to use retkikartta.fi maps in mapsi?
