How do you change the theme without theme settings?

Use postint and prerm scripts with gconf keys in them to do the changes...

your prerm script has to be made better:

Code:
rm: /usr/share/themes/blood: is a directory
Processing triggers for desktop-file-utils ...
aegis uninstalling blood
Updating desktop entries... Done
You must do rm -rf /usr/share/themes/blood

Everything else is good

rm -rf forces thru' the removal...rm -f won't force it hence the error whereby the directory remains behind..
