This is trolling:

Awww, look at how cute techies go when they try to talk about finances and other real world issues.

So I was totally wrong in my earlier post in July.

Jolla actually plans to go public in next spring. First IPO in Helsinki stock exchange and possibly later in the year in Hong Kong. The plan is to offer about 15% of Jolla to investors.

Not a rumour. From interview with their finance guy. http://www.talouselama.fi/uutiset/jo...mansa/a2150870

Building your future off of a previously failed operating system (mobileOS), failure in terms of consumer acceptance via sales via many reasons that we know; they will need more than self-confidence.

The connection to Nokia might not assist them like they'd think.

If one of their backers is China Mobile, who were part of the MeeGo working group, then their confidence is probably not irrational or misplaced.

If TA's figures are to be believed China Mobile has more subscribers than all North American carriers combined.

It would also explain Jolla's initial focus on the Chinese market.

North America is not a big market at all. So that's not too surprising.

What is this crazy talk of buying shares in a company that has shown no signs of profitability? How many bubbles need to burst before people learn?

Anyone want to buy some tulips?
