I was working perfectly with version 0.0.15 Yappari. I started to try bluestacks (android software for pc). Record my phone number and function perfectly, when I went back to 0.0.15 Yappari inicar session showed me this message (Too many attemps registration. Please try again later). 0.0.16 I tried to register, without success. 0.0.17 update, without success, now showing the message is as follows (The verification SMS WAS never received. Please try later.)

@TheNick: Always read the first post before posting, Whatsapp blocked registrations to unofficial clients.

You shouldn't have used the same SIM with another Whatsapp software, now you can't register anymore (it's kinda your fault too). You de-registered Yappari when you logged in using Whatsapp in Android, now you won't be able to use Yappari ever again.

@ everybody else:

I don't know when (and IF) I can fix it. I have tried, but as you can imagine now registration is way more secure than before. Whatsapp doesn't want unofficial clients to be around (remember they charge $0.99 to iPhones and $1.99 to Androids after a year). It needs to be hacked. I don't even know if we can do it (and if we can't it would mean the end of this project).

I think, it is time now, to ask Whatsapp offically, if they want to sell Yappari to N900 owners. Scorpius: You should sell Yappari to them and then we could buy it.

n900 doesnt have a big fan base for whatsapp although this thread took some fame. lets say 10,000 users, not enough to make a invest on a dieing operating system.

@Scorpius I currently have a working yappari, in case i flash the device how I can keep it working without registering n900 with whatsapp server. My second question is, is it safe to synchronize my contacts every now and then or will it block my account due to buggy synchronization?

Copy your yappari.conf in a safe place and you should be able to connect again after a reflash.

Frequent synchronization won't block your account, but remember: WhatsApp Inc. is doing whatever they can to block Yappari/Wazapp, so eventually it'll stop working anyway.
