PicMi https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=92600 (git here: https://github.com/schuay/picmi) is a very good Picross clone (probably the most popular implementation is on the Nintendo DS).

This is the sort of game you didn't know you were crying out for on the N900. Given it is Qt-based I got excited had a look at the source earlier on, but it has the following deps:

• sfml2
• qt
• boost-thread

sfml2 and boost-thread are going to be tricky, are they not?

SFML doesn't support OpenGL ES (is on road map though) so NO

Picmi no longer depends on boost and sfml2, the main parts are done entirely using qt.

However, (since it's now heading to KDE games) parts of libkdegames and KDE libs in general are used. Off the top of my head, this affects mostly the high score dialog, the main window (which is a KXmlGuiWindow) and the default actions.

Replacing these with non-KDE equivalents is very possible and should not take too much time (probably less than 2 days for pruning the dependencies down to qt).
