rm -rf /home/user/.accouns rm -rf /home/user/.qmf rm -rf /home/user/.activesync
gconftool --recursive-unset /system/http_proxy gconftool --recursive-unset /system/proxy gconftool --recursive-unset /system/osso

run as user in terminal:
and also as user run the following in terminal:Code:rm -rf /home/user/.accouns rm -rf /home/user/.qmf rm -rf /home/user/.activesync
Code:gconftool --recursive-unset /system/http_proxy gconftool --recursive-unset /system/proxy gconftool --recursive-unset /system/osso
The above commands will delete all your accounts, contacts and internet connections...do a reboot after running the commands then try creating a new account...

Well the above should remove your IM accounts etc. If they have not been removed, its quite possible you didn't do it correctly. Could you post the output from terminal for the whole process stated above...

Running PR1.3 for a month without issue before now.
Any suggestions?
