After upgrading my n800 to OS2008 I was so happy. It was running great and I loved the fact that I could SFTP to it over SSH with Filezilla. Now when I run Filezilla, I get an Error "PSFTP: no username, aborting, fzsftp could not be started" before it was working fine and dandy, now I can't do anything. I really appreciate any help!

I would suggest enabling Debug (in Windows, Edit -> Settings... -> Debug, level 3 or 4), then pasting the log (top window) here if you can't figure it out. Also, this thread from the FileZilla forum may help.

Well turn on Debug using the menus in Ubuntu - can't be that much different.
