Pretty much just the thread title.

Is it possible to turn off the N9's screen but keep playing on AV TV?

Eg, plug in phone, start playing movie, turn off screen then sit back and enjoy.

Kudos for any/all help!

Odd? Mine will not do this, as soon as I hit the button my screen goes blank. Anyone know why that could be?

I'm on pr1.3

Same issue here, if I turn the screen off, TV output just stops, but if I allow it to timeout/turn itself off, TV output continues.

Is this how it's supposed to function?
Could someone confirm?
