I have this issue too, occasionally. Mine will *say* I still have coverage but just won't get any data. So I enter and exit flight mode and it works again. Glad to get confirmation it's not just my imagination.
But the problem with mine is, i can toggle flight mode and it still doesnt work.

I assumed it was a network issue (using Straighttalk with AT&T sim in the Bay Area) at the time.
I cant do 001...but i have the same problem as you describe on AT&T in SD.

you cant downgrade to 001 legacy... All you can do is continue to flash using a 263 or above legacy...

Maybe it's an AT&T issue then? I used it in SIngapore for the past 10 months and haven't had a single problem.

i dont get the numbering, 263 is a country dependent code and i can flash a country with a higher number? That doesnt make sense.

since you are using firmware 001 and see the same problem on at&t then swiyching to that firmware is not going to fix anything. I experience this mostly in very busy network areas or when i am on the move on the highway. 65mph or above.

is nokia listening? This ;NEVER happened before PR1.3

My SIM stopped working, it was 7 yrs old and swapped many time, it must have broke a connection inside. But i am wondering if it was intermittent in the first place. So i haves a new SIM and will report back soon if the problem persists.

Edit: a few weeks later i havent seen this problem since using a new sim. the only connectivity issue i ve seen since is that sometimes the phone behaves normally and i dont get any data until restart. like the 3.5g icon will turn blues and white, but i wont be able to browse or do anything. i first associated this with the foursquare app and it happened once after uninstalling the app.

Edit: Spoke too soon, the problem returned today.
