i just saw my ~/Downloads directory has callbackuprestore.deb so IIRC wasn't there a call logs utility as mentioned aleady released some while back?

libqtcontacts-tracker: queue.cpp:104: the task queue's background thread stalled
It appears after some time.
Any help?

i spent a long time trying to isolate EXACLY when it happens, and decided it was just easier to write a wrapper that let it run for 5 minutes and restart it if it didnt finish.
since im running this as a nightly backup, its ok if it takes 15 minutes to try it three times. this isnt really an acceptable soln, though, just an annoying workaround.
if youre NOT running this unattended, then just kill it and restart it. it has literally never happend to me 2x in a row.
p.s.: correct me if im wrong, but i get the impression that this is a bug in libqtcontacts/commhistory, not a bug in smsbackuprestore.
