As far as I remembered, vlad already mentioned that Accuweather's data is not reachable. You can ask him again, if you wanted to.

Accuweather app seemed to work fine for me, just that I can't do fancy things like changing the icons and putting its info on LPMS

Currently I haven't any free time for a new source. And I've glanced over accuweather.com quickly and didn't find free data for weather forecast.

It is a government department (& a Qld one at that ) so there may be some resistance, but I'll see what they say.
@Vlad

I finally contacted them about this, here is my email, sorry for taking so long!

Subject: Why is Qld's data format different to all other states/territories?

There's a weather app that uses bom.gov.au as a source, it has few problems with all states/territories, except Qld.
The reason for the problem seems to be that Qld's data is available here in HTML format, not XML like the other states:
ftp://ftp.bom.gov.au/anon/gen/fwo/
Can this please be made consistent between all states and territories?

Thank-you.
I will follow-up with a phone call early next week if I get no response via email.
If this is no longer an issue please let me know...

Get a bucket-load more Symbian devs to start porting their apps to Harmattan 1st.

@Vlad

This is the (predictable) response I have received:

it is up to the company supplying the app to select the source
and format of their data which that are using and providing. You
should try to contact the app owner and pass on your concerns to
them. Unfortunately, you have not given us any details of the app
or the type of data that you are trying to view, or the method that
you are using to view the app, so we can't comment on any specifics
in relation to your message.

Regards,
Where to from here?

It seems that a more technical letter to BOM outlining how Vlad acquires and uses the data. Explaining why it is difficult for Vlad to use HTML data compared to XML data.
Maybe also asking BOM as to why specifically they use a different data source for only one state?
Some ideas....
p.s. You might also ask as to why wind observations are not currently provided for Melbourne.
