Am i the only one finding it somewhat funny that persons stating lack of innovation from industry leaders coming up with yet another soap device? Where is the disc phone? Where is the keyboard device?

A keyb device (alone) isn't innovative, far from it.

People here should help to got damn it!

Dont let that bloated Ubuntutouch win, cause of marketting hypes.

Canonical also is not using wayland/X11 for nextgen ubuntu(touch) instead they decided to make theyr own called, MIR WTF!

Yeah I've been following developments about Mir too....
They risk marginalising themselves big time, but it's too early to cast full judgement, they haven't ruled-out active collab. with Wayland/Weston, or even merging efforts longer-term.
But if Mir's mostly/totally closed/proprietary, then there'll be lotsa anger in the wider community(s)...
They've also moved back towards Qt/QML instead of GTK+, they're re-writing all of Unity with it, great for the Qt biosphere overall, but not sure if it's great for them specifically.

Hi All

As the current SDK sources are x86 based is anyone working on porting Sailfish to N9 or will we need to wait for arm sources or an arm image before it can be done.
