After converting to the right size with NERO 7 ultra (and then using MediaConverter,) the sound to my headphones is too low for me to use the unit on an aircraft.

This is with the master volume and the video player volume set to max.

Anyone know of a program that could boost the soundtrack (about 6db?)

Thanks all.

Does Nero have an option for audio boost? Or is it just ripping?

this is true - as most converters / compressers encoder etc have the ability to compress the audio stream and change the volume of the audio.

dvd catalyst is a program u can buy for like $20 and u can convert a dvd film straight to a 770 file, where u can also increase the volume of the audio file

As I type, I am using DVD Catalyst 1.0.1/PocketDVD 3.0.1 (mentioned below) to convert a dvd. (5-day, NO CRIPPLEWARE, free-trial)

output format Nokia (DIVX MPEG4)
maximum screen size (NOKIA770)

That's right! It knows us.

More in the way of a review to follow. The program indicates 1:33:52 will take 168.60MB.

If it works, this is ideal... Volume adjustment and a single program step straight to a supported format and ideal quality and audio...

Any other users have experience with the best video/audio settings?
