Thank you I've received several roster.db
They don't crash in scratchbox, but they do crash in the N900, so maybe it's a memory leak. I'm looking at it right now.

I've noticed something right now, a second before that the app crashes it shows "connection error retrying.." msg instead of the syncing contacts

Doesn't show to you or to other people?

Can you locate the file /home/user/.yappari/cache/profilephoto.png ? Do you have that file?
