Any Gapless music player, i mean, if the native player will be gapless it would be awesome.
I've never been really into maemo/meego, so i don't know if there is any existing player like this... I hope someone would work on this..

Talking about music. Discogs, Whosampled and Mixcloud would be nice additions to app landscape.

A note taking application able to synchronize with a Tomboy repository.

Firefox (no, the stock browser would not be enough).

Map & Navigation application as the same level as Nokia Maps or Google Maps.

Currently QuasarMX is the only music player that decently supports gapless for Meego-Harmattan. Though it's not free, it's actively maintaned by the dev who owns it, and he also posts here. It's feature-filled and performs very well.

Though gapless transitions are not absolutely perfect (but are pretty darn close), he has mentioned that he is exploring a way to make it even better.

I hope he also ports this to sailfish and based on his track record of porting to other platforms, I am optimistic.

Since most of the obvious apps are already listed, please do not forget my favorite Maemo/MeeGo Harmattan media players!

It doesn't appear to have been mentioned already but CalDAV and CardDAV support would be almost essential for me so it can be used with ownCloud and/or Apple iCloud. The N9's CalDAV support is ok but it never got CardDAV.

Cisco VPN support.

Apps:

A refreshed port of Web Feeds with support for other RSS sync services since Google are stopping reader - https://projects.developer.nokia.com/feed_reader

A port of SciCalc - http://n9-apps.com/scicalc

A LastPass application and integration with the browser and other apps if possible. LastPass were pretty negative about porting to the N9 when I asked though so I wouldn't hold my breath.

OpenLiveView - http://openliveview.com

Rocket - if the feed integration wasn't so buggy it'd be the best twitter client on the N9 - http://webpointstudio.ru/products/rocket/

An iTunes remote app.
