I am sad to say but I am selling my N900. I loved this phone but it is no longer reliable so I just need to give it up. I will be listing this on ebay. Here is the link http://www.ebay.com

I just flashed the phone and still the issue with no sim card is present so I am not sure what the problem is. I tried many things and it was working a few days ago but the issue has returned so not sure why. It is a pretty complete package with some extras so if anybody is interested just let me know or go through ebay.

Thanks for looking

Late reply...

Are you selling the N900, or have you repaired it?

It is said that N900 SIM errors are related to BGA solder joint pop. So, while the first attempts at solving the problem are: trying a different SIM in N900, trying error-causing SIM in a different phone, raising the SIM-touching pins... The most difficult cases have to be solved by re-flowing with hot air.

Neo900 tries to address that issue by not placing large BGA chips on the PCB side which is opposite of keyboard. Plus, they plan to have mechanical support posts to make the whole keyboard PCB more rigid.

Thank you. Best wishes.
