I tried this :

apt-get policy meecast

but it says policy operation is not available ("valable" in french).

Replace 'apt-get' with 'apt-cache'

Hi.

I've uploaded the new version of MeeCast to OpenRepos and Ovi

Changelog:

* Added Perth to bom.gov.au source
* Fixed problem with long name of station in LockWallpaper widget
* Added icons for openweathermap.com source
* Added new measure units for wind speed - Knots and Beaufort scale
* Updated Arabic, Serbian, Ukraine, Norwegian, Catalan, Finish, Spanish languages

Using meecast v0.8, all Foreca locations show only "no data"

Yeah, I have been having the same problem. Tried adding the same location (Joensuu, Finland) through other services and then the app just tried to update data for very long time until I closed it...

[edit] Worked now when I only had one of the same location. Weather.com and Openweathermap.org. But Foreca.com still just says no info. Worked fine before 0.8

I'm running 0.8 with Melbourne from weather.com and I'm noticing that even though today is Saturday, the top day of the forecast is showing Friday. Has been happening since update, anyone else seen this or is it just me?

Edit: now after midday I have Saturday (correct day) on top of the forecast. Maybe something to do with when MeeCast sees midnight/noon?

Hi Vlad,
Bom.gov.au just added a new weather station http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDV60...01.95936.shtml which reports wind direction and speed :-)
Can we switch to this for the default weather for Melbourne?
