They do it the wrong way. Imagine, they announce on Monday that update is delayed till early next week. Then the update comes out early next week and everyone's happy however, there also is a possibility where they finish the update earlier and release it on Friday. Boom, everyone's loving Jolla for working harder than possible.

With tongue firmly in cheek I would say it's the old Nokia way of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

relax ppl, Let Jolla finish the job, it wont do any good to release, with only reason being release. There are plenty of bugs and issues, and we will all benefit from them doing a better quality release.
As for when, well, your device will tell You...
