awaiting replies and helps..

pls get in touch on khandelwal.bharat@gmail.com for my better ment.

Hm, interesting. I never saw glass separately and have no idea how to disassembly glass from screen and assembly back.

screen costs $70-$80

BTW does someone have a spare PROXIMITY SENSOR CABLE from a broken display or a dead N9.

I could use one to repair my broken one.

And bump again for the white housing.
Just a white housing will do, no need for it to be complete...... I am good at dis assembly and reassembly....

Regards,

you can find what appears to be an original white housing on parts4repair.com. you'll see they sell two different versions of each color housing, one marked OEM and one that isn't. i sent them an email confirming these were originals, and they sent back a message saying all parts are original unless marked otherwise. the OEMs are probably the same as the chinese reproductions you see on ebay. the white housing they offer is actually 10 dollars cheaper than the other original colored versions. funny, considering it's kind of a rarity.

and there's not much use buying just the glass, because the glass is glued to the digitizer. trying to pry them apart will usually break the digitizer. it is possible to separate them, but it's really difficult and you need special tools.

parts4repair has a lot of components, but no proximity sensor cable as far as i see. afraid i can't help you there.

Well my friend, kapu2, u have helped me enough already by taking the trouble.

thanks a ton and god bless u for the kind gesture.

I know only screen glass is not possible but the entire screen costs hefty mate....

also i'll see for the housing now on parts4repair....

maybe some kind sould will donate hist screen and proximity sensor from a DEAD N9.

i can pay too, but not much.

I have had games with fate/ill luck of late and am really in a deep pit of losses.. so cant spend much.

ALAS..

anyways thanks again,

regards,
