reboot or shutdown -r now, both require xterm/gainroot then reboot/shutdown, a 3 step process. Since then, I made a little button on the desktop using osso-statusbar-cpu, http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...=small+utility, and has since so spoiled that I use it even a tablet has no power on issue. I got a 770 and N810 and has no power on issue, I put the button there too. I just reboot it now and then and it is extremely convenient. This should be part of the system option, i.e., a software reboot. It should be.

Well, the fix is about to be out this week, at least a birdie flew into my ear and told me that. And the poll stands at 158 for weeks, does not make the initial goal of 200 poll taker, will probably close the poll when the fix is out or whatever time limits in a regular poll has. So far, the poll brought up a very disturbing census, All affected 61+10+4 = 75 vs no problem 80 vs dont know 3, comes to a 75/158 = 47%
i.e, almost 1 out of 2

I know, this is not a double blind study, not a type I data, and subjected to population selection bias (only those owners who come to this forum and come upon this thread and willing to take the trouble to vote) etc etc etc, I still say this is too big a number (users/owners) that one can shrugg off.

Please post when the fix is out. I was just about to send it back, but maybe I'll wait a couple of days to see if it works. Thanks.
