Many thanks for your quick response!

Perhaps I explained myself wrongly before; I only can get properly connected when I use the official whatsup app in a device running android OS.

I always use the same SIM card which it's swapped between the devices.

When I try to connect using Yappari app on a N900 I get what is displayed in the yappari.log from my prior post.

So I'm not sure about what you mean by "you need to delete official whatsapp on your device first, then register it in yappari"

What I did was first to uninstall offcial whatsup app from the android OS device while on-line, switch it off, exchange the SIM and after that try to connect via Yappari app on the N900... without succeeding

Did I follow your instructions correctly? If not, could you please elaborate a little bit more the right proceding?

YEAAAA!!

At last.... Registering from Yappari made it to work again

In order to request registration again I just had to delete "/home/user/.config/scorpius/yappari.conf" after having uninstalled the official whatsup app in the device running android OS while on-line.

After that, Yappari asked for my phone number which I typed... and voila!

This is just another great example proofing the value of this amazing MAEMO community... our beloved N900 can be 5 years old but it's definitively LIVE&KICKING!!

I have installed new version of yappari

it gets disconnected what is the error

I get error

connection closed by server

while using yappari 2.0.10

you need to delete client registered on this number on another device which you used before

From yesterday yappari (2.0.10) is crashing very often to me...

the log says:
Code:
There was an IO error: Connection closed by server.
Connection closed.
Stopping timers.
Freeing up the connection.
Freeing up the socket.
Yappari will retry the connection in 10 seconds.
Invalid length 0x8

I would want "Last seen" and "Status" fixed. The Status always changes to "I'm using Yappari".

Hey,
Great Work ... really love developments in the community.
Just a question !

Can't see the list of members of a group, is it just me or the functionality is not attempted yet ?
Besides adding contacts to the group, i don't see the option to remove or modify a member(promote to an Administrator) of a group.
Please forgive my asking so, i don't mean to be rude, i respect what's already achieved GREATLY !!!
i am just looking for a quick answer!
