I think you have something else going on. I just tried a 5.4mb 3076x2052 pixel jpeg shot I had here.

Loading time from double click in file manager: 10-11 seconds

Loading time from inside image viewer: 7-8 seconds

This was with an n810/os2008 50.2

quiver is amazing! seriously its blazing fast and its very intuitive
and it actually LOADS the image FAST wow
