Sorry, my mistake - I meant QuickFlickr, which we recently brought to life again thanks to Copernicus.

You have two options as for now:

1) QuickFlickr - great UI design, "show photos near me" which is a very cool feature
https://openrepos.net/content/jpietrzak8/quickflickr
and the corresponding thread here:
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=95518

2) FlickrUp - has terrible splash screen and uglier interface, but has more features and you can actually upload photos,
although I haven't tried it myself

My proposal for the splash screen replacement for both Flickr clients can be grabbed from here:

hmm... perhaps there is some other factor that interferes with the connection. I've been chatting earlier today with some Aussie friends and it worked for me without delays both on WIFI and 3G...

Weird. As far as i know, it's a common opinion that Skype voice stuffs never worked reliably, and since "a while back" text messaging has been badly broken as well.

No idea what gives you a different experience, but congratz.

Absolutely. One of the coolest features I've seen in any phone application. Glad to hear it's been updated,

FlickrUp starts to choke when your photo collection gets too large . . . like hundreds of images large.

What do you mean by "everything works except chat"?
I'm struggling with this malfunction, which has been also reported by others:
It shows up in the "feed" section of the home screen, but not in the "newsfeed" section of the app.

IMHO it is far away from "working" - newsfeed cannot be updated directly on stock FB app, but only by refreshing feeds on the homescreen.
Do you also experience this bad behaviour ?
Or maybe there is a way to fix it ?

Cheers!

I've got the same problem.
What is more, after clicking the event in newsfeed it shows up inside the application correctly.

It only uploads (for viewing in the app) the last 200 (300? I forget...) photos added to each album (or your photo stream). The developer made it seem that it was an API problem, not a choice.

I use FlickrUp mostly on my 808 Pureview. Since the Symbian Flickr plug-in stopped working the same time as the one on the N9, I would be lost without it.

On my N9, FlickrIUp tries to show thumbnails to all -- I think all -- of my pics. Not sure, since I lost count around 700 thumbnails. But -- and this is, as they say, the crucial "but" -- not all the thumbnails appear and are instead replaced by the text: "Unable to retrieve". Sometimes the message goes away quickly, replaced with the thumbnail. Sometimes it doesn't. I don't think it's the same pics every time. Doesn't necessarily mean I can't upload the pic with the missing thumbnail, though Naturally, if you can't see the thumb, you're sort of using the force to pick your pics . . . I've never attempted to actually upload more than a dozen or two at a time.

If I had to point the finger at anything, I'd blame Tracker, but who knows.

I'm sorry, I totally misunderstood you...
What you are talking about is a known pain in the @ss. If you press back and then upload, back and forth over and over again, they all show up, eventually. It happens to me no matter how many pictures I try to upload.
