Hi Coderus,

I made the same mistakes and updated to 1.1.7.27.
Then I made the command you gave on the lockscreen-event patch and after a reboot, my Jolla is displaying only my wallpaper : no unlock pin, no pin code ...

Edit : Factory reset done

Couldn't we make a FAQ page somewhere with all the steps required to recover from all these patch manager related issues. Would be much easier for everyone.

Does the eventsview controls with settings applet work with 1.1.7.27?

Yes, I have updated and I have most patches, and they all re-applied fine.

But also, from what I understand from the last release notes, the update process now emits some events over dbus - could patchmanager not be updated to have a daemon to listen to this and panic-unapply all patches?

But if i try

Code:
pkcon remove sailfishos-gallery-zoom
i get:
Starting
Removing packages
Resolving dependencies
Removing packages
Fatal error: Subprocess failed. Error: RPM failed: /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.gdaLee: line 2: //: is a directory
error: 0x457e50e4reun(sailfishos-gallery-zoom-0.0.3-1.armv7hl) scriptlet failed, exit status 2
error: sailfishos-gallery-zoom-0.0.3-1.armv7hl: erase failed

I dont know what else i can do to delete this sailfishos-gallery-zoom
I had the same error with the lockscreen-upcoming patch. An internet search revealed this as a fix for that error:

Code:
rpm -e <package> --noscripts
I think afterwards you'd need to reinstall the gallery:

Code:
 pkcon install sailfish-components-gallery

Err, not quite.
Code:
[root@Dinghy nemo]# pkcon install lipstick-jolla-home-qt5
Installing
Waiting in queue
Starting
Refreshing software list
Querying
Resolving dependencies
Fatal error: lipstick-jolla-home-qt5-0.24.68.4-10.83.5.jolla.armv7hl requires lipstick-jolla-home-qt5-components = 0.24.68.4-10.83.5.jolla, but this requirement cannot be provided
[root@Dinghy nemo]#
EDIT (instead of replying to mrsellout and starting a new page):
Thanks mrsellout, pkcon refresh did the trick. Why did I not think of it myself I don't know.

Worked for me after
pkcon refresh

Tried again and got
Error message: Couldn't resolve host 'dvvwui2qyedk6.cloudfront.net'

Tried again and it went through.
