Any sign of an office type suite coming to the N800? I'm mainly looking to create/edit word docs. I use GoogleDocs but there's not many wifi places around me to use it when I'm out and about. I have 2 x 4gb cards so room to install lol.

I can't stand using Google docs on my tablet because you only get to see something like 2 lines of text by the time the headers and other stuff are displayed. Is there a better way to "see it"? I have a great wifi connection and bluetooth keyboard, but the small viewing area of the google docs and spreadsheets kind of detracts from its usefulness for me. Thanks.

I went back to OS 2007 so I could use Abiword (among other applications not ported to OS 2008 yet) on my N800.

deserttaxguy - even with the keyboard open I'm seeing around 10 lines of text. Is your zoom at 100% ?

OSEmuTech - let's hope it gets ported over soon then lol

Thanks

Abiword is also available on OS2008 now, though it's not perfect.

Gnumeric Spreadsheet can handle EXCEL&CSV files smoothly.

The font's name is Microsoft YaHei[雅黑](msyh.ttf) , and it's included as part of Office2003(Simplified Chinese Version).

Abiwork for OS2008 is still in private beta testing and hasn't released a public version yet.

Your best best is to install Abiword for OS2007. You may have to install the OS2007 libraries to get it work in OS2008 though. See
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/list...212;list=maemo for a script to do this.

Thanks! I've found the font in Windows, but where do I copy it to on the tablet?
