This is very interesting. Can you show your config file ?

New OMWeather update today? Installed the update (0.20.1) and now am having the problem where it doesn't get current weather information.

Edit: Just to test, I downgraded back to version 0.20, and it works again.

Seems that 0.20.1 does something different, for some reason it doesn't get and/or display current weather information.

I need more information for the solving of this problem from your device:

1. Install Omweather 0.20.1
2. Reboot device
3. Update weather forecast
Then:
4. What does show a command 'date' in xterm
5. I need your omweather config files (/var/lib/gconf/apps/maemo/omweather/%gconf.xml)
5. Your clock config files (/var/lib/gconf/apps/osso/clock/%gconf.xml)
4. All files from directory /home/user/apps/omweather/

Has this been resolved? I am still having this issue and have now downgraded to 0.20. Let me know if you need files.

Sorry, I have no idea how to provide config files, etc... I'll look into it and try to figure it out.

To downgrade I think you just go to the garage page and pick the previous version. I uninstalled first.

FWIW, the whole shebang is not working for me as of this AM. May be a temporary thinng,

Edit: actually am getting an error message "wrong zipcode" when I add a new station... ?

Mine hasn't worked since this morning. Here is the xml file contents.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<error>
<err type="8">Bad or missing query parameters in request.</err>
</error>

I'm getting the same error, running version 0.20.1. I'm pretty sure it worked fine all weekend, but his morning I'm seeing the same 'wrong zipcode' error. I've tried adding international (non-US) as well as US stations and they all seem to have the same error.

I'm not sure where it pulls the weather information...could something have changed on the backend?

Mine (0.20.1) stopped working this morning. Could this be the dreaded CDM (Cinco de Mayo) bug? ;-)

Here's some debug output (after a reboot):

4. What does show a command 'date' in xterm
Code:

Note that omweather is currently configured to use the above config file. I had previously deleted the other stations. I tried creating a new station, but had the same update issue.
