I need sqlite3 at the command line (to add something in poi.db from maemo-mapper). With sqlite, the poi.db is said to be encrypted or not a database

I currently have

# sqlite -version
2.8.17

And
# ls /usr/lib/libsql*
/usr/lib/libsqlite.so.0
/usr/lib/libsqlite.so.0.8.6
/usr/lib/libsqlite3.so.0
/usr/lib/libsqlite3.so.0.8.6

I tried to install libsqlite3-dev_3.4.1-1osso3_armel.deb from http://repository.maemo.org/pool/chi...ree/s/sqlite3/ but there 's some incompatible applications..

Mappers poi.db is sqlite3. The error you are getting is because youu are using sqlite2 if you have python2.5 runtime installed datable is worth a try

Here is a Chinook compile of the sqlite3 amalgamation. You will need to copy it into /usr/bin and make sure it has execute rights (chmod a+x sqlite3).

sqlite3.zip
