Okay, I have a nokia 770, running OS 2007 HE and just got a Blackberry 8120 phone through t-mobile. Both items register each other, but am unable to connect to the internet, Please lend any assistance.. thanks!

I am testing the 4.5 os on my Pearl and the instructions in the first post of this thread has worked very well for me.
I have the $20 unlimited blackberry plan with TMO.

Just as an FYI. Before 4.5 tethering with my pearl was very problematic. It would connect to the internet but browsing the web or almost anything else worked very poorly if it worked at all. I could sometimes get a page to load if I retried a bunch of times.

I was never able to tether my 770 to my Sprint BB 8830. It would always say no services.
But I just updated the BlackBerry firmware today, and it said "no file transfer, just DUN"... Hmmm
So I set it up and I browsed from my 770 thru the 8830 to google.
Easy when it works. :-)
Of course, it's a work phone, so I have to be careful. I was told unlimited, but there's unlimited and unlimited. :-) It was never an issue because it never worked before.
Not that I expect to use it much. There's generally wifi where I am, but it's nice to know it can work.
