I'm not sure quite how useful this is going to be, but I was able to install and run Windows 3.1 under DOSBOX on my N810.

The trouble is in finding a copy of Windows 3.1(1) to install. It's relatively easy to find the disk images - but that's just a lot of faff to install it for - at best - a nice hack.
What I've not yet been able to find is a zip file containing a DOS disk ready to be unzipped and run in DOSBox or similar containing any of the interesting, but ancient, OSes (GEM'd be interesting too).
