Hi, I will update my n810 firmware for the diablo, and I want know some things about it before update...

Has Diablo some erro?
It allow download maps for GPS for free?
What is new on Diablo?
Can I install all the aplication of the last firmware?
It have some program that run the msn messenger, or can I instal one compatible ?
which disadvantages?
Which the vantages?

It has been proven that every program has at least one bug, and can be reduced by at least one instruction. Therefore, by induction, one can reduce any program to one instruction that doesn't work.

Operating systems will, in general, permit downloading anything. The version of Wayfinder that comes with it can fetch free maps, the same as previous versions. Other programs also generally have the same restrictions as previously.

Being "new", it prompts people to ask the same questions everyone else has already asked.

Larger initfs for better hacking. Terminal is no longer broken.

Heh... yes.. That's right... DRM stops everything...

Anyway, Benson is correct... The operating system isn't going to stop u from getting stuff if you really want it.. It's the software that runs on the operating system that has it's limitations...

And .. Like DRM... they are more just friendly "suggestions".. then actual limitations...

and if I don't like it, can I downgrade for the last firmware?

Well, I did. And yes, it's possible to reflash with old stuff; as far back as OS2008 on an N810, though I think an OS2007/8 hybrid could be cobbled together, if you really wanted it.

The desktop or one of the included applets leaks memory just out of the box even on a fresh and clean install.

Yes, but this doesn't work reliably. Behind a proxy, it doesn't work at all.

Frequent need to reboot or kill the desktop process because of the memory leak.

If you use PAN for phone tethering:
DUMMY connections are not listed in the connection dialog, so maemo-pan does not work as easy as it should. Nokia still has to fix this trivial bug.

Still haven't found any... oh wait, the E-Mail client now lists IMAP subfolders!

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Diablo yet...

I upgraded for a-gps and I couldn't get it installed using the install-xandr-kernel script. It hung at a debian file,
