Hey guys n' gals. It's been a long time since I've had a tablet in my hands... since January... but now, I finally have the N810.

Upgrading it to the latest software was a bit of a pain, mixing up reflashing FIASCO images and updating through the application manager, but it's done and complete.

My brand new tablet is ready... so, because I've been away for so long and haven't really had the time/hardware to follow everything going on since the beginning of the year, I wanted to know what the community considers to be some of the best apps for the N810 right now. I'm sure I've completely missed some new stuff out there... so your suggestions could really help me out.

I'm so glad to see the community continuing to blossom over the last few months as well as Maemo in general.

Thanks in advance.

if you like comics/manga, get cbrpager. Light and works the way comix never did.

Hot dog! Good to hear you're back online.

I'd definitely go for Personal Menu and Personal Launcher. Advanced Backlight, too.

You need to try lcuk's liqbase -- awesomeness inbinate.

Rotation support -- I'm not sure if sliderotate's updated for the last SSU yet, but if it is, get it; if not, rip the scripts out of it and use it with the stuff from http://outpo.st/rotate/.

There's a not-horribly-great-for-N800s abiword beta out, but it should be fine on an N810; just some OSK troubles.

And last, but not least, Easy Debian chroot. It's in beta/rc stage right now. (i.e. each release is an rc, but then Qole sees something cool to add and kicks it down to beta again. )

Welcome back, zerojay! It's good to see you around again (with a tablet this time, even! ).

Benson covered things pretty well, but most everything of interest is in Extras or Extra-devel, so just make sure they're enabled and browse around a bit.

Be sure to check out fms's emulators. Especially VGBA and iNES.
