try http://www.zdez.org and get the 0.31a.

The config might have changed a bit.

You also have to bluez-utils-test installed already/separately.

3.1a installed now on os2008 with the latest OS update.

I rebooted it 3 times and it installed on the 3rd reboot .It looked like my list of apps was not updated .

Thanks tz1 for the fast fix ..

The problem with 0.31a is that python2.5-bluez and python2.5-gnome seem to have disappeared.

I'll have to track them down.

You can get the python packages if you do "apt-get install -f" from the command line as root. I don't think you need to add the sdk/free and tools/free repositories.

So for minigpsd 0.31a, you need to do

apt-get install python-gnome python-bluez bluez-utils-test

I think nokia has been rolling an update with the repositories. The things which are missing/not keep changing. You will need bluez-utils-tools from the tools/free repository (which will increment the version of bluez-utils - I've two bug reports to Nokia for this).

I have been unable to get the latest version to install after updating my tablets. I have both a 800 and 810. They both had minigpsd installed before the latest SSU update.

Now on both them I have bluez-utils 3.28-Oosso6.

bluez-utils-test 3.28-Oosso4 will not install because it requires bluez-utils (= 3.28-Oosso4)

I have played with various repositories and can not find any other version of bluez-utils-test.

Any ideas on how to resolve this? I have tried the various apt-gets and reboots mentioned previously and nothing has helped.
