For some reason, my N800 has stopped locking the keyboard and screen after 2 minutes (what I have set it to in the control panel).

I tried unchecking and then rechecking this option, but it continues to respond to the keyboard and buttions after 2 minutes. Can anyone point me in the direction of what might be the problem or where the timeout configuration information is stored? Any assistance would be appreciated.
