This repository worked fine for me until yesterday:

Also for google satellite this URL appears to work:

Yes, it works for me too...
http://khm.google.com/kh/v=37&hl=en&x=%d&y=%d&zoom=%d
...but only for the first few maps each time. There must be some kind of download limit. I think I get about a hundred tiles each time before it fails.

On a side note, did the Maemo Mapper Downloader for maps ever get fixed? I tried to run it, but kept getting errors.

I've now noticed that after I hit the limit, Google Maps blocks any kind of satellite view from my IP address for the next 24 hours.

This greatly upsets other members of my family (who use Firefox on the same IP address), so no more Google Satellite on Maemo Mapper for me.

Regards,
Roger

Hmm. I just used that URL, and now when I switch from Google Street view to Google Satellite, it shows me that I'm in northern Russia instead of Seattle. Everything else continues to work normally.

GeraldKo - The same thing happened to me the first time I ran the new google satellite, except it showed England instead of US. After scrolling over to US and exiting it kept my US map.
