Guys:

I'm a new N800 user. I have been able to pair (BT) my Motorola Q and N800 so they see each other. However I cannot get the N800 to use the Moto as a outbound modem.

When I go to the connectivity screen it does not see the Q as a connection. I have veried that the bluetooth connection see each other.

I think I'm doing something dumb.... with a smartphone

Any help is appreciated

There's a registry hack for this. I got mine working. I don't have the link off the top of my head, but HowardForums probably does

You don't need a hack per say. You will have to modify the connection though.

in the modification screen,

dial #777
username: yournumber@vzw3g.com
password: vzw

and make sure its a data call

This is what I did, and it works fine
