Toward the bottom of this Nokia site, http://maemo.nokia.com/features/media-player/, there is a picture of a 48GB micro SD card. I'm think some marketing person apply artistic license to what " expandable to 48GB" should look like. If not, I'd love to have one - if it were $50 or less.

Good luck; 32GB microSDHC ones are hard enough to find (still). And I've not seen them under $150 either.

EDIT: the "4" on that card is photoshopped in there. Its not aligned with the "8" next to it.

Hmh, that sure is a mistake. 32gb internal + 16gb for the card.

It's as claesbas stated. There is no 48GB microSD card. It's just the sum of the internal memory plus the 16GB microSD card (maximum).

It's not a mistake but a picture made up by Nokia marketing to advertise the fact that you can have up to 48GB of data on the N900. This was confirmed by Maemo's marketing team.

There are no 48GB cards out there and this isn't a picture of it.

Are you saying there are actually people who were able to buy 32GB microSDHC ?

Saw them at different points through this calendar year; too high for me to jump at them though.

Do you have a link where they are available?

Sorry, I don't; its only been something I've seen in passing. I'll ping a friend who can ask a memory maker directly.
