I bought two n900, one for me and one for my girlfriend... Yesterday I noticed a little difference between them...
My n900 has the white led blinking correctly, but my girlfriend's one doesn't have it at all.
I try to reboot the device, but still no white led. I'm sure that it isn't an hardware issue because while I'm rebooting the n900 the led turn on.
Which could be the cause of the missing blinking?

See Menu->Settings->Notification light if the "Device on" is selected. Personally I like it to be disabled.

white led? when? i see it only when powering on/off.

its on notifcations during settinggs, white indicates that the device is on, blue is if u have recvied a new mail/im/sms etc.. yellow is when it is charging and green is when the device is fully charged.
