This past week a friend with an iphone "lost" his phone while on a good new years outing. The next morning he flipped out and then remembered he had a service on his phone that would help him to find it.
- He was able to turn the device on remotely
- The location showed up on a map
- An alarm sounded to help him find it..

it was awesome and I want it too! One of my biggest fears is loosing my connection to the rest of the world

Does anyone know if something similar is in development?
