(I don't know if this is still relevant, found this thread with google)
In /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini I found the relevant entry:
Default grid is 4 pixels, 8-16 works nicely for me.Code:# Edit mode configuration [edit_mode] snap_grid_size = 4 # Set to 0 if snap to grid should be only happen when widget is released snap_to_grid_while_move = 1
