Can you also shed some light on what kind of functionality are you trrying to re-use in your 5 widgets. we are planning for a reusable JS library for widgets which will be available system wide. What do you think about that
Reusable JS library for widgets could be nice especially if this meant inheriting the user-selected maemo theme/colors.
I would like to see any device specific functionality, like access to accelerometer, gps, vibration, etc... supplied separately from any Maemo specific UI JS toolkit however.
But, I would prefer if it would be possible to have a WRT app themed correctly purely through CSS classes/selectors, so that it could be more easily compatible with existing javascript toolkits.

Is there any news yet? Will it be available in PR1.2?
Are there any plans offer WebGL or similar API to access GPU acceleration?
