(2) 4 A lot of research and slight impulse.
(3) 5 The skype integration attracts me the most.
(4) 3 Not really that much. Multi-tasking influenced the choice.

I researched it all the way that's a 5.
3. Have you chosen the device based on brand values or specs?
I would have never bought a Nokia for more than $20 before looking at the specs and Linux Based OS on the N900.
The 10Mbps 3G wireless is the fastest cellular connection on the US market.
4. Has the operating system it runs on (Maemo/Linux) influenced your choice?
Maemo/Linux OS definitely has influenced my decision to purchase the N900. That Symba Nokia thing is a Joke in my eyes.
If it wasn't for the Maemo/Linux Based OS and Mobile Firefox I definitely would have went with another Droid.

The iPhone is cool . . . no keyboard and it feeling like an ipod more than a phone but I bought the N900 cause it is a beast and works best with T-Mobile 3G. Like I said If it wasn't for the Maemo/Linux Based OS and Mobile Firefox I definitely would have went with another Droid.
