How do I connect to a wireless network that doesn't broadcast it's ssid?

Menu - Tools - Control Panel - Connectivity - Connections - New - WLAN - Scan for Avail Answer NO.
Enter Network Name (SSID)

Obivious wasn't it...

(Took me a day or two to find it the first time.)

Nice tip, harliquin - I've done it the hard way for my own network and another that I visit often: turning on the broadcast temporarily for the initial hookup. Obviously this doesn't work unless you have access to the router settings.

The good news is, you need only suffer once. Connection Manager will memorize the access point settings and (subject to your autoconnect preference) do the deed transparently after that.
