Is anyone else experiencing a process named intellisyncd using egregious amounts of CPU?

Early today I caught it at 100% and killed it, but I just noticed it happened again a few moments ago.

Anyone know of the best method to disable this daemon entirely, and if it's safe to do so?

Yes, me too. I have noticed that my phone is discharging more quickly that usual, and brief investigation leads to prcess /usr/bin/intellisyncd -u 29999

For me it consumes around 5-10% of cpu.

But it looks like it is failing with some error and respawning every two seconds or so, because pid of process is still changing.
