I managed to half-uninstall python-hildon, halfway through I panicked and pressed Ctrl+C. Anyway, python-hildon seems to still be installed, but when I try to install for example cute explorer I get some dependency errors. I think it's related to this, so I wonder, how can I fix this?

I tried to install cuteexplorer and attached the output here:
Code:
Nokia-N900-02-8:~# apt-get install cuteexplorer
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
cuteexplorer: Depends: libhildonmime0 (>= 2.1.5) but 2.1.3-1+0m5 is to be installed
Depends: libqt4-core (>= 4.6.2~git20100310) but 4.5.3~git20090723-0maemo6+0m5 is to be installed
Depends: libqt4-dbus (>= 4.6.2~git20100310) but 4.5.3~git20090723-0maemo6+0m5 is to be installed
Depends: libqt4-gui (>= 4.6.2~git20100310) but 4.5.3~git20090723-0maemo6+0m5 is to be installed
Depends: libqt4-xml (>= 4.6.2~git20100310) but 4.5.3~git20090723-0maemo6+0m5 is to be installed
E: Broken packages
By the looks of it, it doesn't look good. My N900 still works as it should though. Except that Wiicontrol don't work(which relies on python-hildon IIRC).

No need to mention this is a stupid mistake, by the way

Try "apt-get install --reinstall python-hildon"

Sorry, cute explorer still complains about dependencies.

cuteexplorer is looking for newer versions of those packages...but when I check I have the same versions as you (running PR 1.1). So it looks like I'd get the same errors if I were to try installing cuteexplorer.

Edit: This seems to be a known problem, the developers are writing the app for PR1.2:

Oh. Well, if that's the case, I guess it's not my fault after all.

EDIT: Wiicontrol doesn't work though, it disappears right after starting it.

This is getting on my nerves, more and more apps are getting broken, the autobuilder shouldn't have been updated :/
If you want I'll build a PR1.1.1 package, or just download an older version from http://maemo.org/packages/view/cuteexplorer
