Hello,

I'd like to install this package on my N900, but it seems it needs a command from Xterminal

Could someone give me a hint ?
Thanks a lot

This is the package : http://www.brettspielwelt.de/Data/brettspielwelt.tar.gz

(A client for playing boardgames online with a large community of players)

if I understood correctly it requires java so you can't install that to n900. (actually you can but you can't run it)

What Ossipena wrote is correct.

However, to answer your question:
In the terminal, type:
Code:
dpkg -i <your package>.deb
Root access may be required.

And nothing protects you from Trojans from possible MITM-attacks.
Debian security policy sucks. Fortunately Meego will have GPG-signed RPM-packages instead of deb-ones.

There is a way, if you are a hacker.
